springtime inside

The following are little things that have gotten me through this quarantine. The loneliness, the regret, the remembrance of past memories

relationships

I have collected these couple things that remind me of various times and people that I hold close.

SONGS

Dancing queen - Abba
being 17 again

Eres tú- Carla Morrison
Massachusetts in the winter

I'll look around - Billie Holiday
Solitude and warm tea

Sleepwalk - Johnny and Santos
my best friend Ellie's guitar and rain

Ozma - Shannon and the Clams
a tinny old radio and driving to the beach with a best friend,
Max.

Canyon Moon - Harry Styles
going home
dancing in my room
elation.
stuffy airplanes and face masks,
a home that doesn't feel like home anymore

Vendaval - Mon Laferte
dark room, warm heater,
soft.
where did time go?

ART

Nayyirah Waheed

Make time hold fast,
And the night forever last.
So you will never leave me,
So the dawn will never be.

  2. First of all, LOVE the shout-out to ABBA! You have rekindled my love for their incredible music.

Second, I love how you take the value in the small things in life. Showing pictures of the sunset and the clothes line really resonated with me. Those things are always here for us, but we don't often take the time to appreciate them. You however, show a great connection to the simple pleasures in life, and I believe that is the key to remaining positive in a time like this.

You've taught me so much, but most importantly, you've showed me what it means to persevere. Not only do you display the strength to persist through life's greatest hardships, but you provide me with the support to believe I can do the same.

Life is full of such beautiful moments, as you show, Ranging from a sunrise to the birth of a child. Thank you for giving some of those times to me. I can't wait to share more of them with you. :)
