how i define my resilience

resilience

you have to put one foot in front of the other

i've always done it, no matter how dirty

                                                       or beautiful.

                                                      i've been knocked down

not wanting to get up because i couldn't do it on my own,

but we all need help sometimes.

that does not mean that we are bound to those who have helped.

it just means i can now lay peacefully in the meadow with the feet that brought me there

  1. Zoe,

I have always admired your honesty and humbleness throughout the entirety of the semester. Sharing your story with the entirety of the class was incredibly courageous of you and it shows just how strong of an individual you truly are.

Your contributions and talking points you presented to the class were invaluable. I am privileged to have shared group projects and class discussions with you. Moving forward, I know you will continue to bless others with your kind and fun demeanor.

Stay strong and have a wonderful summer break!
